Maser Art mural in Carlow Town

As I mentioned in my post Walk with Carlow Fringe Festival art trail map, 16th of June appeared the newest Maser Art mural in Carlow Town.

It’s located on the junction of Old Dublin Road and College Street, next to The Irishman Pub and close to the VISUAL Centre for Contemporary Art and The George Bernard Shaw Theatre.

This mural was painted for Carlow Arts Festival 2021 (at the end of the Festival) by the world-famous Irish artist Maser Art.

Maser (40) who lives in south Dublin, has built a worldwide following for his unique graphic style.

Over the past two decades, he has collaborated with President Michael D Higgins, U2, the National Gallery, the National Library. And the National Print Museum as well as creating large murals in Australia, the US, the UK, Uganda, Nepal, and Hawaii.

`Maser truly embodies the centric spirit of contemporary visual art in Ireland today. Having created artwork since 1995, over the last 25 years, Maser has earned much respect professionally. And has generated a large and dedicated following both in Ireland and Internationally. Through his seamlessly imaginative and unique graphic style`.

The newest mural in Carlow Town is a stunning artwork, with beautiful colors and brightness. Great for cheering up Carlow Town. Another grey and sad building turned into a beautiful one.
