Flowers of May

Flowers of May

According to the list of birth flowers by month, lily of the valley and hawthorn blossoms are the two birth flowers of May.

In May I visited a real flowers paradise which is Delta Sensory Gardens.

I was delighted with the amazing colors.

Fabulous examples were at a Celtic walk at Delta Sensory Gardens. Camassia, frequently known as the Wild Hyacinth, on the avenue, showed off its striking beauty.

Patio Garden delighted me also. There I found a lot of gorgeous hawthorn blossoms. In Celtic traditions, Hawthorns symbolize happiness, beauty, faith, longevity, and hope, but they also hold a more magical meaning. Some believe hawthorn trees help shelter fairies, who act as their guardians. Along with ash and oak, hawthorn is said to offer a gateway into Faerie. So, I think this is my favorite part of Delta Sensory Garden at this time in May.

Beautiful tulips were at Five Senses Garden, even a black one.

And of course, amazing pink magnolias were at the Waterfalls.

Moreover, the weather was brilliant I have a wonderful time and stayed at Delta Sensory Garden until they closed.

Below are photos I took in May 2021.
