From The Curragh, we went to Newbridge Silverware, a design company’s visitor center with a homeware & jewelry store, a restaurant & fashion museum.
Newbridge itself sits on the Curragh plains, in County Kildare, in the heart of Ireland’s ancient east.
I have been there before. But I was happy to see the Newbridge Silverware Visitor Centre & Museum of Style Icons M.O.S.I again.
We browsed in the Newbridge Silverware Lifestyle Store, because, my friend was looking to buy new earrings.
Then we did a Factory tour. This is an opportunity to experience the skill of manufacturing tableware and jewelry, a craft that has been virtually unchanged since the company was founded in 1934.
Since 1934, Newbridge Silverware has been the leading producer and designer of gift products in Ireland, incl. jewelry, cutlery, tableware, etc.
Associated with many famous characters such as supermodel Sophie Dahl, Hollywood actresses, etc. Linda Gray and the legendary icon of style Audrey Hepburn. One of the most exciting and sought-after collections is the Duchess Grace Jewelry Collection. In 2016, model Naomi Campbell became the face of Newbridge Silverware. Jewelry collections include the classic Pearl Collection as well as the best-selling Collection by Amy Huberman and new ranges Sappho, Dalique, and Vintage. Recently added a collection of Vintage Pre-Owned Luxe jewelry with names like Dior, Oscar De La Renta, and Trifari.
The actual list of celebrities, sports stars, and public figures who have worked with and represented the Newbridge brand is quite spectacular. A short list includes. the Princess Grace Foundation, the Audrey Hepburn Estate, the Greta Garbo Estate, and the family of Kurt Cobain and Maureen O’Hara. Today, the Visitor Centre houses the complete range of Newbridge Silverware products and some exclusive collections.
It incorporates the award-winning Silver Restaurant, the famous free-to-enter Museum of Style Icons, and the unique guided Factory Tour.
