‘Made in Carlow‘ at Carlow Arts Festival 2019

I visited ‘Made in Carlow‘ during Carlow Arts Festival 2019.

‘Made in Carlow‘ showcases unique and original local arts & crafts. It is an art gallery, arts and crafts, and gifts shop.

Located at 139 Tullow Street, next to Fringe Arts Festival HQ. It is open 10 am – 6 pm.

It is full of stunning and fabulous local artwork and craft pieces. You can buy their beautiful jewelry, home decor, paintings, sculptures, and more. Worths to pay a visit.

The gallery is situated in the heart of Carlow Town and represents over 100 local and regional artists. Among others, painters: Elizabeth Cope (best known as a painter of bright, colorful pictures), Oladimeji Olaniyan (born and educated in Nigeria), Ben Jelliman, Laurance O’Tool, Annmarie Nolan, Marja van Kampen, and many more.

Their ambition is for the ‘Made in Carlow‘ brand to be recognized and regarded as a high-quality gallery.

The Art Gallery has participated in local art festivals since 2018.

In 2019, also participated in the Wexford Opera Festival, the Kilkenny Arts Festival, and the Carlow Fringe Arts Festival.

The gallery’s vision is to have a presence at art festivals throughout Ireland’s Ancient East. Thereby providing our local and regional artists with an opportunity to showcase and sell their work.
