St. Patrick’s Day Carlow 2021

This year the famous landmarks (St. Patrick’s Carlow College and VISUAL Centre for Contemporary Art & The George Bernard Shaw Theatre) in Carlow Town turned green for St. Patrick’s Day.

For the second successive year Covid-19 and its related restrictions ruling out parades, festivals and even the smallest of gatherings. But all over the world, the “Global Greening'” is going ahead, with a iconic landmarks in many countries lighting up green for March 17.

Since I live in Ireland, every year I participated in the parade in Carlow Town. You can see it here: Saint Patrick’s Day Parade Carlow in 2015 – 2019 (5 years of memories).

This year for celebrate St. Patrick`s Day, once it just got a little dark, I went for my photowalk through the street of Carlow Town. It was nice, calm and warm evening.

I just used my imagination and yesterday evening on my photos all Carlow Town turned in green for St. Patrick’s Day, not only Carlow College and VISUAL.
