St. Patrick’s Day Carlow 2021

This year the famous landmarks (St. Patrick’s Carlow College and VISUAL Centre for Contemporary Art & The George Bernard Shaw Theatre) in Carlow Town turned green for St. Patrick’s Day Carlow 2021.

For the second successive year, Covid-19 and its related restrictions ruled out parades, festivals, and even the smallest gatherings. But worldwide, the “Global Greening'” is going ahead, with iconic landmarks in many countries lighting up green for March 17.

Since I live in Ireland, every year I participate in the parade in Carlow Town. You can see it here: Saint Patrick’s Day Parade Carlow in 2015 – 2019 (5 years of memories).

This year to celebrate St. Patrick`s Day, once it just got a little dark, I went for my photo walk through the street of Carlow Town. It was a nice, calm, and warm evening.

I just used my imagination and yesterday evening in my photos all of Carlow Town turned in green for St. Patrick’s Day, not only Carlow College and VISUAL.

The first one is the Carlow Castle. Then, I went through Tullow Street and took a photo of Tully`s Bar and Scraggs Alley Pub.

Next are the Carlow College, Carlow Cathedral, VISUAL Centre for Contemporary Art & The George Bernard Shaw Theatre. And also Liberty Tree.

Below are photos I took on 17th March 2021.
