No.1 from Irish beaches, the most beautiful, the cleanest, Blue Flag, amazing beach with a stunning forest trail beside it, is Curracloe. I fell in love in this beach from my first visit in July.
It is not suprising Curracloe beach in County Wexford wins ‘Ireland’s Best Beach’ for 2022 Reader Travel Awards.
I was delighted I could visit Curracloe again in August. This time I spend almost all day there and walked much farder through shore of the beach. There were not much poeple so I could feel like all beach was only mine. It was fabulous to have a long walk, enjoy the sea and relax.
The weather was fine, not to warm, not to windy. Amazing, beathtaking views, diffrent deppending if the sun was coming out or setting. And what I love is this beach has unreal amount of beautiful rocks and shells. Most of them were broken but it was a great fun to searching for the good ones.
Curracloe beach is located 75,5 km (through the N80) from Carlow Town which is about 1h 15 minutes drive.
